Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
DAY 01
Arrival at Cochin Airport, Local Sightseeing in Munnar and Local Sight seeing
When you arrive in Cochin, you will be transferred to munnar. On the way you will witness vast tea plantations, colonial-era bungalows, and beautiful sights of Cheeyappara, Valera and Kallar waterfalls. On arrival at Munnar, check-in to the hotel and give yourselves some time to relax. You can take a small tour of local market and surroundings as you have the rest of the day at leisure. At the end of the day, come back to the hotel for a restful sleep.
DAY 02
Day Trip to Cochin
Have a delectable breakfast in the morning, then you will be go to visit Eravikulam National Park, where you will see nilgiri tahr, an endangered species of mountain goat, in the dense green hills of the park. You will be travelling in a park bus while you get a chance to witness the wonderful beauty of nature around you. After that, you go to the Tea Museum by tata tea when you will get a cup of fresh tea as a trial. You will also get to know about variations of tea processing.After an interesting visit to the tea museumYou will also take a visit to the Indo Swiss Project. When you are done with all the activities for the day, you will return back to your hotel and rest your night away.
DAY 03
Day Trip to Thiruvananthapuram
At a distance of just 44 kilometres, there are constant buses from Varkala to that take about two hours to reach Visit the richest temple in the world, the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Move on to the Kuthiramalika Palace (Mansion of Horses), a remnant of the rich royal history of Kerala. Spend the evening at Shankumugham Beach, marvelling at the beautiful sculpture of the mermaid, Sagarakanyaka. When you are done with all the activities for the day, you will return back to your hotel and rest your night away.
DAY 04
Drive Trip to Thekkady and overnight stay
Breakfast at hotel. Check out & Moves to Thekkady (110km/3.30hrs) Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (Boating is optional).Spice plantation visit ,Elephant Safari,Cultural shows like Kathakali & Kalaripayattu,Ayurvedic Massages etc are the other optional activities available in Thekkady. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
DAY 05
Cochin Airport drop
We will drop you at the airport as per your convenient time for your journey ahead.
